Currently Vetinsurance is transitioning to a new name, Trupanion. We are the same Canadian-founded company offering the same simple, fair, and affordable coverage that pet owners have trusted for more than a decade. We think the Trupanion name more directly conveys the Vetinsurance/Trupanion coverage as a unique pet insurance solution.

With the Trupanion brand, you will have access to your account at our new online policyholder area at Trupanion.com. There, you can adjust your coverage, add new pets, and manage your policy at any time!

In future communications you will continue to see the new Trupanion name and brand, but rest assured that Vetinsurance and Trupanion are the same company, under the same ownership/management, and offering the same coverage.

Trupanion is a new name, but is still the same company that offers medical insurance for your pet and helps you protect your pet and yourself.

    Thanks for the update. I sent in a claim for Dexter a few days ago, therefore I will not be surprised when I receive Trupanion mail. I will comment on the service at a later date. Thanks again

    thanks for the name change update.
    Recently Brett has experienced health issues and it is stressful enough to see your pet and friend going through the pain and discomfort. Nice to know that the owner does not experience any hardship when the claims are submitted properly and then receives payment in a prompt manner.
    Kudos to the staff and the company for recognizing that positive and effective communication is the most efficient and beneficial method of conducting business.
